Annual Memberships

 The job of the trust is to respect the spirit of Jackie and dave’s wishes and to ensure efficient management, administration, and protection of its assets for all of its beneficiaries.

Mom, Dad, Granny, Gramps (or that cute little couple in the

corner…), have created an irrevocable Trust to protect

Manabear if we can maintain and afford to keep it in the

family. Their dream is that it will stay in the family for

generations to come. For this to work there needs to be a way

of generating money to pay the bills such as; taxes,

maintenance and upkeep, along with an individual

commitment from all of us. It is imperative that each and

every family and individual become an integral part of the

whole of those supporting Manabear. Below are the basic

annual costs in order to keep Manabear opened for us to

enjoy. We have also included the income. This does not

include donations for projects such as the sand for the beach

in which some of our children collected funds from their

generation. Below you will see the overview of the fee

schedule. We wanted to make a tiered system whereby all

may contribute regardless of income, and as a result enjoy

some benefits. We believe creating a “membership” is the best

way to accomplish this. There are four levels of membership

as outlined below.

Additional Guidelines

• All guests must be with a direct descendent of Granny and Gramps. No one can stay at Manabear without a family descendent chaperone present.

•  Any Tiered member can stay free with another member who is present.

• Family who are non-members can stay free with a gold member present or regular nonmember fees apply.

• Descendants are eligible to participate in memberships at age 23.

• All changes in reservations must go through the booking manager 7 days before reservation at the latest.

• All guests must sign a release of liability form before their reserved stay at Manabear.

• Lump sum Membership payment must be paid in full by April 1st of that year.
